The vagaries of fashion and what passes for beautiful
Are subject to the opinions of critics oh so dutiful
But opinions change for reasons that are very much inscrutable
And seem to be at the whim of some who seem indisputable
But also others that we question whether or not they are suitable.
Does a zaftig model or one who is skinny hold us as being more scrutable?
Paradigms of pleasant sights for the eyes change in time and seem so mutable
And yet there are things of beauty whose aesthetics are irrefutable
I seek those universal and constant paragons of beauty beyond the usual.
